Juniper berries are used in flavouring gin and can be added to beer to provide similar aroma and flavour. They are an expected flavouring component in making Sahti, a traditional Finnish beer. These berries are round and purple in appearance and have a sweet flavour reminiscent of pine.

Instructions:

• Add up to 1 oz of juniper berries per 5 gallons batch with 10 to 15 minutes of boil time remaining.
