40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 25% Syrah
20 day maceration and fermentation with regular pumping over. Aged 9-10 months in stainless steel vats
Produced primarily from the younger estate vines, complemented with some purchased fruit, we were very impressed with this little Gassac wine. Dark ruby red hews coat the glass of this expressive, complex and spicy wine. The tannins are ripe and well integrated with a nice gritty texture making this a gorgeous southern style claret suitable for drinking over the next 3-5 years. Great value!
