Romnico is a red wine from Toro produced by Bodega Teso La Monja. It is a varietal Tinta de Toro. The grapes used comes from low yielding old vines located in the municipalities of Valdefinjas and Toro, Zamora. Teso La Monja is owned by the Eguren family and, in just five years, has managed to become a winery among the best in Spain. It is indeed a benchmark of Toro.

Pure berry and black-cherry aromas make for a flush and friendly nose. In the mouth, this is quite dry and drawing, with rough-textured tannins. Lightly salty and savory blackberry and black-plum flavors finish with surface-level depth and a reprise of scratchiness; drink through 2024.
